Ashford is a small rural community that used to be a rendevous point for drovers. The town is very friendly and the surrounding countryside is stunning. Frazers Creek runs through the town with parkland either side. Many of the shops in the main shopping area have been abandoned but their character remains. A modern Rural Transaction Center provides access to banking, government services and the Internet.
