Clermont is a small town of 2,700 people in Central Queensland. The town is situated 300km west of Rockhampton. The town is close to one of the world's largest seams of steaming coal. Many of the buildings in the town are historically interesting and somewhat quaint. The town is very pleasant and the people are friendly.
